Singapore Malaysia Border
Discussion is currently ongoing between Singapore and Malaysia on the reopening of the border to allow cross border travellers.
Malaysian Senior Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob, has said that citizens from Singapore and Brunei will be allowed to enter Malaysia freely without the need for COVID-19 testing or quarantine provided that Malaysians will be offered the same treatment.
The Singapore government is working on allowing workers, students and business travellers subjected to certain requirement.
To safeguard the citizens between Singapore and Malaysia, bilateral arrangements would include mutually agreed public health protocols.
